I mean, who would have thought that being pregnant, a diving blessing from God, would become nothing more than a mere fad!! Are these people really ready to be parents or are they just following the crowd? You tell me.

I was thinking the same thing lately. Everyone's pregnant....Maybe it's just that everyone's jumping each other's bones during the summer/fall months...LOL!
i think its just that season in many peoples lives...many of those listed are in their late 20s (Christina and Nicole) or mid-late 30s/40s so they are just ready for the next phase, just like everyone in my group that i went to school with or know are getting engaged...i know its not a phase just that time in our lives...
I think a lot of it is not well planned. A pregnancy is like a marriage to another person in your life that is incapable of being self-sufficient. I think a lot of these celebs probably depend on the care of a live-in nanny and could totally see it being an 'it' thing to do.
baby you know them hollywood folks will make anything a damn trend if they see more than 2 people doing it. next it will be summer homes in antartica!

I think for women like Halle, Salma, and Garcelle it's a matter of them waiting on children for career goals and now that they are all 40 (all turned 40 this year) they realize it's a now or never thing. J Lo finally seems to have a hubby that isn't going anywhere so it's not a surprise for her. Everyone else may just be on a fad or something.
