Sisters and Friends

My family of sisters are going to be having a breakfast together in DC tomorrow and I won't be there. =( My blood sister asked me to write a letter to open up the breakfast though, so at least I'll be there in spirit. While doing so I just realized how much I love my sister. We used to fight like crazy. She threw and apple at my stomach, I burned her with an iron, she burned me back, I slapped her in the face...yeah all of that. But guess what? After all that, she's basically my best friend now. She's so intelligent, proactive, opinionated, and fun. And I so respect her. I never thought as a little girl that I'd look up to my little sister, but it's good to know that we feel the same way about each other. I look up to her and she looks up to me. My sister and I are partners in crime. It's pretty cool to have the relationship that I do with her. I love you Pooh!

Awww. . . so what was that about coming back to the DC metro area? :-) I mean, at least close enough to get to stuff. But far enough where it's harder to get to you! Best of both worlds. By the way, I keep forgetting to call you at a decent hour, but I may have a housing opportunity for you on a month to month basis here.

My Mom and Step-dad own another house on Ritchie Marlboro road that I'm moving into next summer as the landlord. It's got five rooms and plenty of space. They're trying to get people in there so it's not burning a whole in their pocket. Rent will be fairly cheap and I can work with them to make it flexible enough for you that you can do a month to month lease. Just another option to think about.

Keep that moving in thing on the hush though. Haven't told the folks yet. As much as I know she wants me to move out. I think she's going to catch feelings for me doing it before I graduate.

Peace,
Kep.

I never had the pleasure of having sisters...blood sisters that is...so I didn't grow up with that...I grew up being treated like the little boy that I was "supposed" to be when I was born according to my brotherS....Who knows what my name or any of that was supposed to be...but for the THREE of them (I actually have five, but know three, meaning grew up with and really know them...the other 2 I know of...nother stroy...)

So I grew up fighting like a boy...you name it, I did it...and I learned early on that I wasn't as strong as my brothers...and it was a by any means necessary type of thing for me to survive...I won't say some of the things I did to get even as I am sure that many of them are illegal....LOL

I say all of that to say its a TRUE blessing to have you all in my life as sisters...and because we aren't blood related and its not a "guaranteed" type of thing...it makes me tresure our sisterhood that much more
